Modules are a collection of books curated by experienced educators. A child is assigned to a specific module based upon various factors such as age, interest, and current reading levels. Each Module consists of 25 books. The books are sequentially organized with progressively higher reading level so that a child enjoys reading books at her current level and also makes progress in her reading abilities as she moves through the books.

One of the largest problems faced by parents who are trying to inculcate a reading habit in their children is to select the right kind of books. Often, they depend on friends and family to recommend books. However, books that do not match to the child’s age, reading level and interests are more likely to cause a child to turn away from reading altogether instead of encouraging her. Our experienced educators have designed each module by including books that are based relevance, reading level, contemporariness, and diversity. Children enjoy reading books that are suited to them. In addition, such pre-selected books also provide a common ground amongst peers for discussing their books, rating the books, and benchmarking against each other.

Our engagement methods for inculcating leisure reading habits are based on scientific research. They involve the following activities:

i. Online Mentoring sessions – Mentors discuss the book that the child is currently reading. They help the child in understanding the plot, build excitement around the story, discuss highlights of the book, teach the meaning of new words and explain difficult parts in the book. They also discuss the next book in the module and build an an anticipation for the book by describing the broad plot and what parts the child should watch out for. Online mentoring sessions are conducted in group so that the child feels the excitement of participating with other kids with similar reading levels.

ii. Write reviews; Children are guided on writing reviews for the books. The reviews help them express themselves and help in developing the confidence to voice their opinions.

iii. Leaderboards: Mentors will rate the child at every level based on level of participation in mentoring discussions and quality of reviews. The child can compare his ratings with that of peers. It has been proved scientifically that a load of encouragement with a dose of competition will motivate the child for keeping up with her reading.

Online mentoring sessions can be scheduled at the convenience of your child through a self service portal on our website. The child can select available slots for her Module level by simply clicking.

No problem at all. There are multiple Online mentor sessions for every level, and these are repeated every week. The child can select the next available slot as for her Module Level as per her convenience.

The delivery of the next book is automatically scheduled once the child completes the current Module Level. It takes 2-3 days for the delivery. The completion of the current level is marked by the mentor once the child completes all engagement activities satisfactorily.

We provide only physical books.

We are currently providing books in English only. We will soon introduce books in regional languages too.

Our mentors are trained on a standard procedure developed by us for evaluating current reading levels of child. These procedures include understanding current books read by the child, sample read-alongs, vocabulary testing, etc.

Our mentors will provide personalized monthly updates on the progress made by your child as she moves through the Module Levels. You will also see your child become more enthusiastic about reading and self-motivated in spending time on reading.

We don’t need much from you other than creating space and time for child’s reading at your home. Just fix half an hour every day in your child’s schedule for reading. Leave the rest to us.

Books are delivered one at a time corresponding to the Module Level. As soon as the child finishes one level, we will deliver the book at the next level and pick up the book at the current level.

The engagement activities are designed by experienced educators and are based on cutting edge research by child psychologists. Together with our dedicated mentors, the child will develop a deep engagement with leisure reading.
